The biggest learning I have gained from my experiences is that when cross-disciplinary minds come together, great work comes to life. I am always looking to be inspired and to inspire, and to forging new relationships. Collective creativity brings out the best that a right team has to offer.

My career in branding started at Ogilvy & Mather New York, as I began to collaborate with a talented team on campaigns for Motorola, Levi’s, Coca-Cola, and Miller Brewing Company. While working in fashion, I got the opportunity to create a fully rounded brand for Beyoncé’s fashion venture, House of Deréon.

In 2007 I began to reach out to clients geared towards social and environmental causes. Working with the City of New York to develop the branding for GreeNYC, the sustainability initiative spearheaded by Mayor Bloomberg, became a turning point in my career. In 2014, I found myself in great company at the Global Social Impact House, a program organized by the Center for Social Impact Strategy, University of Pennsylvania, for budding social entrepreneurs from around the world.

Currently I am preparing the launch of a creative consulting business. My hope is to help clients think beyond cut-throat competition, so that they may begin to navigate calmer, bluer oceans. I am especially interested in partnering with independent businesses like my own.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature from Sogang University, Korea, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Advertising from the School of Visual Arts, New York. I practice calligraphy whenever I can.
